REGISTRATION: 8:15-9:15 a.m. (pre-register online, then check in at registration for your shirt, race number, and BBQ ticket! Day-of registration also available, but shirts and BBQ tickets are only guaranteed to the first 140 racers)
RACER MEETING: 9:15 a.m.
START: 10:00 a.m.
LAUNCH: dock launching will be available from 9:20 - 10:00, beach launching available from 8:30 on
LAKE TRAFFIC: Once you've launched, stay to the north side of the lake (clockwise direction) as you row towards the bridge, and once under the bridge, keep speeds low as you practice and keep an eye out for oncoming traffic.
TAKEOUT: beach takeout only (to avoid crossing through finish traffic to get to docks) Once through the finish line, continue straight along beach to the beach takeout shown in the map on the "location" page. Please DO NOT use the docks or beach launch area to take out.
SPECTATING: great spectating on the bridge (park at Lake Samish Park) as racers cross under bridge towards the end of the race, and at Race Headquarters on the beach to watch racers cross the finish line.
